Can I bring a plus one?

We're keen to share the day with our closest friends and family, so please don't bring anyone not included on your invitation!

Are children invited to the wedding?

A very small number of immediate family children (above 10 years of age) have been invited to the ceremony only, but as above, if your children are not named on your invitation, please make arrangements to enjoy a child free day - with the blame on us ;)

What should I wear?

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The celebrations will be spread between indoor and a fully covered and heated outdoor terrace area.

Is there a dress code?

There's no dress code; dress to impress, dress to dance, dress up or dress down - Come As You Are (bring dancing shoes!) x

Where can I stay?

Is there accommodation at the venue?

There's plenty of rooms available at the hotel The Refuge is housed within - Kimpton Clocktower Hotel. See the 'Travel & Accomodation' tab for a discount code, and alternative hotels in the area.

Is there parking available?

Due to the City Centre location there is no free parking within a 1 mile radius. The closest car park is

York Street Car Park (Euro Car Parks), Pritchard Street, Manchester, M1 7DA - book online for cheaper advance rates.

Whats on the menu?

Traditional isn't us. So this won't be a traditional 'sit down meal of meat and two veg' kinda wedding. There will be some light canapes served just after the ceremony around 2.30pm.

We're currently confirming with the venue for there to be 'picky bits' throughout the late afternoon, before evening snacks too of course.

However, guests are welcome to dine in The Refuge restaurant from 12 midday where Sunday lunch is served (highly reccomended) but a booking is essential and you'll be right in place for meeting everybody arriving for 1.30pm - click here to book

Gifting

Your presence is all the present....

Seriously though, having a great party with our nearest and dearest to celebrate our marriage means everything. We also know weddings cost - so after spending on everything to get here, a night away from the kids, many many drinks from the bar, we couldn't ask for more.

However, if you'd like to gift further, we're planning our honeymoon for late Christmas/ New Year 2025/26 for which any contribution would be amazing x
